On tap at Pint Bokbierfestival 09. Dark reddish amber colour, dense off white head. Aroma is light flowery, caramel and grain. Flavour is prickly, grain, amber malts, sweet with some caramel. Bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Nah..

Bottle @ home. Nice brown / dark amber color. Decent smell and taste though nothing special. Nice carbonation, medium body.

Brown coloured with a not-holding head. The smell is malty, lots of caramel. Very sweet, light fruity smell. The taste is like the smell, the sweet caramel kicks in pretty hard, to change to a unpleasant dry-earthy finish. Nothing to get excited, and not my style of beer.

(Bottled) Clear, very dark amber with a small, lacy head. Rye-puddingy-malty nose with lightly roasted malt - like a boosted tafelbier. Flavor is initially dryish-malty and roasty with some rye sweetness coming along towards the sweetish and caramely finish. Almost medium body with medium carbonation. Another boring dark bock with nothing to catch your attention. 5234

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity not wall adhesive light brown foam collar which was fine and evenly of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a thick redbrown color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is light hoppybitter with a roasted malty touch. This beer smells malty.

bottle, Dank an MoritzF! Deep brown colour, mid-sized beige head. Aroma of roasetd malts, caramel and chocolate. Full-bodied with lots of caramel, roasted malt and shy hints of chocolate. Roaset flavours in the lingering finish.

Tap @ The Dutch Bockbier Festival, 2009.
Pours deep ruby red with a small, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has caramel, oranges, rye and sweetness. Medium prickly carbonation, okay dry mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, caramel, light toffee and softly roasted. Okay balance.

Clear bworn reddish with a medium beige head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel notes. Flavour was sweet with roasted malt, caramel and grassy hops.

Bottle: Deep chestnut-amber coloured, hazy, huge fluffy, but stable beige head; sweet dark-malty to caramelly nose, accompanied by a tinge of roasted malt; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; increasing hoppiness in the robust bitter-caramelly finish, lingering and warming hoppy "tail". A bit unbalanced, but all in all a solid, tasty Bock........
