Draught at The Local Taphouse, Sydney. Pours dark amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma and flavour of toasted malt, biscuit, toffee, citrus and pine. Medium bodied and good hop bitterness. An easy drinking IPA considering the high ABV.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2010 draught at taphouse. pours copper/orange. smells sickly sweet. taste is much better though, some sweet tropical fruits with pineapple the standout, grass and pine. wouldnt guess it was 7.5% as the alcohol is hidden rather well. that was version 2. version 4 at paddys beerfest, it has been punched up to about 8.5%, with heavier hops and a thicker mouthfeel.

Tap. Pours a hazy golden amber with decent beige coloured head. Good lacing as it falls away. Nice floral / citrus hop aromas supported by a good whack of rich malt sweetness. Good stuff. Flavour wise it is pretty much the same. Good malt sweetness up front and bitter resiny hop finish. Solid mouthfeel. Nice beer.
