Feb 7, 2009 Reddish-brown colour. Leaves no lace. Earthy, caramel nose. Earthy, caramelly flavor. It’s slightly fizzy for the style. It has good balance and flavour, even if it lacks in complexity.

Feb 6, 2009 Reddish color with small off-white head. Malty sweet aroma begs for hops but smells clean. Gentle fizziness, thin mouthfeel. Has some huskiness like the others do too but not so bad.

clear dark amber, fine beige head, lots of lace, nice light hop aroma on a slightly sweet caramel malt base, nice tempered hop flavor leanding into a long smooth bitter finish, just the slightest hint of DMS

Jul 5, 2007 Columbia, SC - on tap at the brewpub - cloudy, dark orange appearance, decent, silky white head. Minty aroma. Smooth, subtle bitterness, sme underlying citrus notes with hints of nectarines and a back end hint of mint, Decently thick mouthfeel. Does in a a pinch.

Dec 21, 2006 Dark amber pour. Another one with too much hops, grapefruit tasting hops just overtaking this beer, a touch of crystal malt comes through then gets it’s ass kicked by more hops, I know it’s suppose to be bitter but can they throw something else in there also.

Nov 4, 2003 Citrus fruity aroma. Highly bittered, lightly sweet and woody. Session weight with light CO2. Deep red-brown. Finishes medium with woody bittering. Better than many.
