Appearance: opaque dark brown, fine beige head, lots of drippy lace
Aroma: dry chocolate aroma.
Flavor: rich chocolate flavor, lots of earthyness keeps it very dry, touch of bitter roast

Black pour, small off-white head. Aroma and flavor are marked by chocolate, coffee, and earthy roast. Decent dryness, but watery overall. Meh.

This porter is very dark with a tinge of reddish amber on the edges. The aroma has a distinct roasted coffee characteristic. The flavor is mild, not too bitter. the finish is fairly non-descript. But a faint bitterness does poke through. Ok brew but does not stand out in my mind.
