On tap at the brewery. Cloudy amber in appearance. Outstanding aroma. Has 45 IBUís. Very nice beer. We were served the unfiltered version of this beer. A strong berry aroma emerges. Great grapefruit citrus flavor is in this beer similar to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A decent, gutsy APA. Good bitterness for an Oz pale ale. Bit rough around the edges but better that than the rash of timid APAs that followed Little Creatures’ success. Looked a fraction pale for an APA - bright gold, rather than tangerine, with a soapy head. Muted aroma but the most distinctive example of lychee that I can recall. Clear as day. Filled out with some grape juice and grains. Soft and smooth in the body, with that thickness in the mouth that seems typical of Australian APAs. Phlegmy and a bit chewy. Soft malts, passionfruit, rusty nails and a rasping grapefruit-rind finish. (Draught at brewpub)

On tap at the brewery. Pours a nice amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruity with some toffee, hops and spices. Taste is also fruity with some passionfruit, grapefruit and notes of toffee, biscuit and citrus. Sweet fruity after taste with a ballsy bitter finish. Great job.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at the brewery. Pours a bright deep amber with nice slightly off white head. Plenty of lacing as it falls away. Big american hop aromas with plenty of citrus and bubblegum coming through. Flavour of some light caramel up front and a good resiny hop bitterness near the finish. More malt came through as it warmed. Fullish mouthfeel. Nice beer.
