4.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
As far as Porters go, Iíve had this one many times, in many iterations. The good news is that this is the Porter for the base of many Hunterís Brewing beers to come. The better news is that this porter is one of the best porters that Iíve ever had.
Is there roasted or black malt in this? Could be. Iím not getting any astringency, but the chocolate in this one is just awesome. And I like a Porter.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark brown with a dark tan head.
Roasty chocolate, coffee aroma.
Taste is strong, creamy chocolate malt with a nice ashy bittering.
Really robust, on all points.
A great Porter.
