Cask (gravity) @ 27th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2010, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England
Hazy medium amber red color with a small, frothy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, cherry, berries, malty, mold cherry notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, thin cherry sauce, caramel. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask (gravity dispense) at Pigs Ear Beer Festival, day 2 (beer #7) on 1 December 2010. Cloudy with a pink tinge. Strong fruit aroma but underpinned by something a bit incongruous that I couldnít quite put my finger on. Maybe a little match-strike sulphur. A bit thin on the palate. Doesnít 100% succeed, but marks for effort.

Pigs Ear. Clear amber beer. Ghost of a white head. Light dry palate. Semi sweet malt but dry. A little dried fruit hops. Okay but a bit dry.
