UPDATED: APR 2, 2009 A very solid lager. Very clear gold pour with a nice white head. Aroma is light on the yeast and a nice malt character of toast and caramel comes through. Flavor is bitter but not much. Clean, crisp, refreshing brew.

This brew just won the Gold for Vienna Lager’s at the San Diego/Del Mar competition, beating out Sam Adams! Rich toffee/caramel aroma and flavor, some bitterness. Amber-copper color and miminal head. Rich, mineral notes.
