Cask @ HAF09. Dark yellow greenish colour. Aroma of sour apple, yeast, barnyard and phenoles. Flaovur of sour apple, barnyard. Earthy. Good cider.

A Sim rate. Cask at GBBF.
Sweet Granny Smiths with a hint of dry white wine. A good mix of initial sweetness and a nice dryness in the finish. Quite smooth for a cider.

Cask at GBBF 05-08-09 Thanks to Sim for sharing this one with me. Pours straw in colour and with an intriguing lightly fragrant nose, quite a nice perfume off of this, possibly some apple blosson with a slightly subdued appleyness behind. Starts and finishes with a rasping tang, drinks lovely almost like a soft drink when you’re in need of a thirst quencher, touch of the rusticness but I was impressed by the rather delicate nature of this one. UPDATED: AUG 11, 2009 On tap at East Bedfordshire CAMRA Real Cider Bar at Bromham Mill, Bedfordshire. Hazy mid gold. Sweet aroma, but the taste is sour and sharp. Not astringent or bitter. Like champagne. 5.8.09 On tap at GBBF ’09. Thanks to Sim for this one. Gold. Sweet fruity aroma and taste makes me suspect, based on my original rating, that this might have been their Sweet Cider.
