Smells like corn, rotten cherries, alcohol and metal. The taste is very harsh and sharp. Bitter, metallic, sour and brutal. It’s 8.1% and it gets the job done, but still. Aroma was almost nonexistent but it was a decent looking beer. Clean and crisp looking and it had a white soapy head. This beer also had the least body of any I had ever sampled. It had some light golden color but was almost see through. Even the alcohol content was overrated. I have had high alcohol beer before but this one had almost no effect. ehhdayton (1113), USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Feb 10, 2006 The aroma is of cooked cabbage and unpleasent. The beer pours a clear golden with a small white head that is very short lasting. Tasteless, not offensive, just tasteless, with a bland finish on the palate. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA

| 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jan 12, 2006 Pours a suprisingly dark yellow. Goes downhill from there. Tastes like stale garbaje. Corn. Metal. Cardboard? Alcohol. Found myself contemplating pouring half out, but manned up and finished this abomination. cAPSLOCK (154), Dallas, Texas, USA

But in the end it just looked sort of dirty or muddy. This impression of the color may have come from the taste which is also kind of dirty and muddy. Tastes like cheap malt liquer.. well it IS cheap maly liquer. If I was going to rate it according to its category ONLY then it might get a 2. There are many worse in this realm.
It smells sweetish and cardboard-y, has a decent head (soap? ;) and it laces and kind of lasts. Very thin in the mouth. Gainy, metallic, alchoholish in a bad way - still sweet though. Dirty taste, Dirty finish... AVOID OD40oz (600), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA

Holy crap, you could strip the chrome off of a bumper with this sludge. Nasty corn taste with sickening aroma. Stay away from this crap. Regular hurricane is much better than this and thats not saying much. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Dec 28, 2005 Pours a fizzy crisp golden yellow. Aromas of corn, minor hopping, and not much else. Flavor is bland american lager with almost no hops. Is ther any difference between the Hurricane/Ice/HG??? Taste like the same beer to me.
