Yellow/gold, with a white head. Aroma is grain, corn, and alcohol. Flavor is corn, grain, alcohol, and is relatively mild. Not offensive.

This is a hardcore and dangerous product. Not for the faint of heart or anyone planning to drive a motor vehicle. Only drink this at home. The taste reeks of alcohol, but it’s good. This is probably the best malt liquor available. While it takes some psychological preparation to drink this, I suggest that one sample it. But, beware! Hurricane H.G. is no joke. Remember, safety first. I’ve always poured it out of 16 oz. cans, and would be reluctant to try it in the clear bottles, which is a risk. Drink this stuff ice cold. RJT

There is a hole in my heart, and all I have to do is fill it up with alcohol. No place better to start, then at the bottom of the barrel...Pours golden clear with a fizzy white head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma is of cheap beer malt, tin, alcohol, and straw. This beer reeks of bad intentions. Taste is of tin cans left in the sun, straw from the floor of a stable, cheap beer malt that tastes like stale crackers, and rubbing alcohol. Lingering taste of rubbing alcohol and stable straw. For all the horrid aspects of this beer, it does do it’s job suitably well. It has just enough booziness to take the edge off of a bad situation. Would I drink this beer if given the choice? Hell no, I wouldn’t even wash my taint with it. Would I use this beer to make the bad feelings go away? Hell yes, it’s like Waylon Jennings, heroin, and suicide all in a 24oz can. This is the perfect beer for those nights you feel like slipping into the gutter and being unproductive. This abomination of a beverage is as harsh as life itself.

2009 Can - Pours golden with a frothy white head...aroma is flammable, corny and grainy...flavour is pretty tame for that aroma, with carbonation that disipates and leaves a creamy mouthfeel...the secondary heat from the booze just made its presence known in the back of my throat...I thought it was gone...taste wasn’t bad, just all of the other aspects are what made this hard to drink...oh the gravity...

Very dark yellow color, smells like corn adjunct and booze. The flavor isn’t too bad, the slight sweetness covers up some of the flavor and alcohol. Better than Steel Reserve if you just want to get tanked.

Floral nose. Seriously. Not bad. Slippery dishwater palate. No head or lacing but sure feels sudsy...or maybe oily. Gasoline? Something petroleumish going on here for sure. High marks for value. Will drink again when I’m broke. Or as a supplement to enhance my next 12 dollar sixer..

Truly nasty stuff. I guess a crack smoother and therefore preferable to Steel Reserve. Only buy it if you need 8% alcohol to feel buzzed.
