Yellow amber with malty grain aroma. Flavor is a bitter grain, malt and corn. Better than colt 45 but not by much. Metalic flavor from a bottle ...blahhh.

40oz Bottle. Malted barley aroma probly was the best thing. Yellow body white disipating head and good carbination until it warms goes flat. Flavor from the bottle but had that aluminum can and corn grain ect normal with this one. Well one man once said if you donít have the crapy beer youíll never know what is good beer. Donít even know if this is worthy of a brown paper bag street corner brew.

When I came to, it had rolled over and forgotten me. Not quite a Cockney Rod Laver, but close. Seems to posess none of the good qualities commonly associated with beer. Instead of a buzz, I got a "high blood pressure" flushing in the face. Did nothing whatsoever for my sinuses.

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2009 Can 71 cl. Clear deep golden with a white head. Sweet corn aroma. Medium body, sweet notes of corn, a little metal, a little sulphur with a discreet bitterness. 100709

(Can 70,9 cl) Pours pilsener golden with a small, white head. Vague aroma of malt. Medium-bodied but still manages to appear watery and sloppy. Notes of corn, some alcohol and then nothiing much more. And certainly no bitterness. 3/2/3/1/6=1.5 010406

Taste very mediocre. However packs quite a wallop. I like to call it my "canít wait until payday brew." Somewhat bitter and the can doesnít help the metallic taste either. But like i said this stuff will kick your butt if you drink just three of them.

24 oz. can, dated 10 Feb. 06. Iíd never seen this before, but I could tell from its red and blue packaging it was an A-B bladder buster. So I finally found their malt liqour line. Oh, hell, at least it looks like a beer, Iíll give it that. In fact, once the fizzy head goes down, it somewhat resembles a whiskey and water. But thereís an evil corn mash smell right under the tab. Taste is like tonic water with Karo, ethyl alcohol and Betadine stirred in. Again, it edges out beers Iíve had that were simply ruined: this one is exactly what it claims to be. And now I know what beer to have for my 800th rating coming upÖ but the gas station I found this at didnít have it.

UPDATED: APR 7, 2008 For what this beer is, a cheap, American, Anheuser Busch, 24 oz can of 8.1% alcoholic goodness, it tastes okay. Compared to other beers of its caliber, the taste of alcohol is covered up quite well. I was surprised by that fact, as I expected a punch to the face by the looks of the can. Anyway, if youíre looking for a good way to start your night, itís the best that 99 cents has to offer.

Big can. Poured amber color with a large frothy off-white head that diminished slowly and had some lacing. Light sweet grainy aroma. Light body with soft carbonation. Light sweet soapy flavor with a alcohol finish.

Can from Baezaís, Fort Davis, Texas

What can I say? I had spent the day perusing Fort Davis NHS, the wind was fierce, the sun piercing, and the air dry. Perhaps these factors explain why the hell I plunked down $1.18 (with tax) for a 24 oz. can of this stuff. -sigh-

Pours bubbly and dark corn yellow with an aroma of weak rice with sugar sprinkled on it. Taste is sour copper with hints of corn flakes and barley. Palate is water, alcohol is not noticeable. Intended, Iím sure, so dumbasses can get plowed without puckering their lips and squinting with pain after every attrocious sip. I have a sudden urge to challenge a midget to a fight. Weird.

Avoid like herpes.

I give it an overall of í2í only because a) the checkout lady at the store, though obviously underage, was kinda hot, and b) I bought it in Fort Davis.
