Light amber hue, with a white head. Aroma is alcohol sweetness, light maltiness. Taste is a light maltiness, very light caramel, and toast like aspect to it, barely can tell itís 8%. Really not bad for a malt liquor.

Very golden, with a nice looking big fluffy white head.

The aroma is doughy with some banana stuff happening... banana bread-like... The aroma has some alcohol and a touch of corn.

The flavor is actually fairly smooth... Itís got the alcohol and the sweet corniness, but the grape drink is really subdued and nothing (at least at this temperature) is horridly offensive. Again with the mild bananas.

Strong corn nose. Some light white frothy head and a clear deep golden body. Flavour is smooth, full creamed corn and slight hefe. Oddly not bad. Better than many malt liquors of this class.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2016 25 oz can, inbev is giving us an extra ounce over competitors. Clear gold in color. Really a non-offensive high gravity alt liquor so credit them for that, this still sucks balls though. re-review 710ml can. This is an unoffensive HG, dry for its style too, if you wanna get fucked up and not swill your way though a 211 or colt hg this is what you grab.

Original review: 9/10/10. Can poured into a pilsner glass. Pours a deep dark gold with a thick white head on top. Good sticky lace left behind. Scents of cheap husk, dry grains, and lemon. The body is pretty full for the style and brewer. Pretty crisp as well. Flavors of heavy grains, corn, honey, light booze. Bitterness is low. This wasnít all that bad. Pretty good beer for campfires, tailgates, cookouts, etc. When cheap beer is in need, itís Hurricane indeed.

local score. Trifecta for the evening. Yellow, booze, 8%. Everything is in check. Corn, grape drank, butterscotch, can, high gravity. Yep. Iíd swear this is natty daddy.

This has some malt to it. I find it induces excellent sleep. I have difficulty with my memory when I drink a couple of tall-boys of Hurricane HG. Not a bad flavor.

24 oz. can. Dark honey body with a lasting foamy head. Nose-cinamon, dust, green apples. Tatse-green apple jolly rancher, sweet cherry, alot of fruity esters, corn syrup. Not too bad for a malt loquor. Not overly corny. But, it is so sweet and full of apple flavors that it tastes very similar to hard apple candy

Appearance: Glugs out a clear, orange-gold body with a thin, white head. Smell: Seriously, why do I continue to subject myself to these things? Aroma of toasted, microwaved corn-based cereal and floral-scented chemicals. Taste: Heated corn flavor with an odd sweetness. Iím not sure why I always refer to it as an "odd" sweetness, when the vast majority of these malt liquors has it. Letís start saying "off-putting sweetness," whaddya say? A needed hint of hop bitterness almost shows up, but is taste-blocked by a wave of chemical flavor. Ah well. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation. Mercifully, itís not as nauseatingly tongue-coating as most malt liquors. Drinkability: Itís just barely tolerable, I think thatís the nicest thing to be said of it. Paired well enough with a handful of salted pretzels.

poured this into a glass to see what color it was and to get some aromas... after that it went straight into a funnel. clear gold with a small quickly dissipating white head. aroma of candy caramels, grassy hops and laundry detergent-like floral qualities (not that it’s a bad thing). tastes sweet...like lemon grass, grass, caramel and distinctly of cantaloupe. medium body is a bit acidic and prickly from the carbonation. not a particularly good ML...
