This would be fine to get drunk on in any situation. The sort of thing you might have at a picknick or an outdoor ball. It’s golden w/ a small head. It’s a little bit syrupy w/ some raw grain alcohol in there but nothing too bad. You also get some of that wierd grape jelly kind of character common in higher gravity malts. Mouthfeel is oddly creamy and satisfying after a fashion, making for a boozy but drinkable beer. This is a work of art compared to many spirit barrel aged beers and that is just a sad fact we will all have to get used to.

25 oz can, inbev is giving us an extra ounce over competitors. Clear gold in color. Really a non-offensive high gravity alt liquor so credit them for that, this still sucks balls though.

Decent amount of white head that quickly reduces to a ring. A few lacings.
Bought a 25 OZ. can poured into a pint glass. Aroma is a basic grain/corn feel to it. The appearance is pretty appealing, a nice golden color. Taste, is not unpleasant, a real surprise considering its reputation and cost. Smooth but not a weak flavor. Palate, is slightly carbonated and enjoyable. A very respectable beer, a good American malt liquor.

Strong corn nose. Some light white frothy head and a clear deep golden body. Flavour is smooth, full creamed corn and slight hefe. Oddly not bad. Better than many malt liquors of this class.

Poured in to lager glass just because. Pours a whiz yellow with a super head and enough carbonation for a pepsi factory. Aroma is just metal and corn and ash, UGH. Taste is cardboard with sweet cheap malt and corn. hardly any bitterness. Only for bums and broke underage kids.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a clear yellow color with no head whatsoever which means there’s no lacing.
The smell was grainy sweet but also like candy/sugary sweet.
The taste was sweet through the candy/sugary stuff.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with not much to being worthy of having any sort of sessionability about it. Did it sit too heavy but showed a somewhat not too heavy of a body for me to say what I earlier said?
Overall, weird beer, then again, it is a malt liquor, probably wouldn’t have it again.

25oz can. Pours a clear urine-colored gold with a white head that disappears quickly. Nose is filled with corn and a spoiled sweetness that should not be consumed. Taste is, fortunately, pretty light and inoffensive, though you can get some of that sickly sweetness coming through. I feel like I’m punishing myself, but it’s a cheap tick.

Tall can. Tastes like sweet musky skunkyness. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet pale musk.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tall boy can. Pours clear golden yellow with fizzy head. Aroma is pale malt, corn, and faint grassiness. Flavor is pretty solid and tasty for what it is; smooth malty taste without noticeable off flavors. Medium body and carbonation.

Transfer from BA review on 3-18-12 -
Poured from 40 oz. bottle into pint glass
Appearance – A medium golden color with a slightly off white head upon pouring. The head faded fast and gave way to the light film and very little lacing.
Smell – Some corn and a bit of malty bread. Both lighter and mild.
Taste – The taste is mainly bready with a bit of biscuit and corn. A bit of sweetness is present initially then fades a bit toward the middle of the taste only to come back more at the end of the taste. With the sweetness that comes at the end, a alcohol flavor also comes in giving a little bit of “burn” aftertaste. While the sweetness is there throughout, it is not as sweet as many malt liquors out there and dryer in flavor.
Mouthfeel – Very light for an 8.1 % abv beer. The body is more like a standard 5% lager; light with a higher level of carbonation.
Overall – What can I say, kind of a standard malt liquor in flavor only a bit lighter in sweetness and body. It is very easy to drink due to its lighter qualities (sweetness body), although that may not be a good thing due to its heavier qualities (abv.)
