Transfer from BA review on 3-23-12 - Poured from 40 oz bottle into grenade pint glass Appearance – Pours a medium golden color with a big billowy white head. The head is composed of big carbonation bubbles; the ones that are seen rising through the beer. The head fades very fast and gives way to a very light amount of lacing. Smell – The aroma is heavy in corn and has a slight metallic odor. Taste – The taste is of corn and rice in nature mixed with a metallic flavor. Some astringency comes in and mixes with the other present flavors. There is a little bit of bitterness that comes in the end and leaves a sting on the tongue. It is actually sorta good as it leaves a rather nice tingle and gets rid of some of the less pleasant metallic and astringent flavors. Mouthfeel –Rather average body with a medium level of carbonation. It helps make the brew easier to drink and is good for the style. Overall – Not really the best malt out there. With the price of this 40 oz at only at $2.25, what should I expect though, right?

40oz (Old Notes)-Pours a medium golden with a small head. Aroma of corn, sweetness, and alcohol. Taste of the same. This medium bodied brew is not the best malt liquor I have had.

Can shared at the 5k/7k/11k. Rough stuff. Aroma of sawdust and stale bread. Pours like thin dirty water with champagne bubbles. Taste is corn, malt, and sawdust. Tastes like watered down corn syrup and an aftertaste of stale bread yeast. Horrible stuff.

Bottle...get this...2000 vintage. Yes, this was a 13-year-old malt likka brought to a tasting by a (former) friend. Holy balls. Pours golden with a tiny bubbly ring of off-white head. Nose is honey, white grape, and tons of high fructose corn syrup. Tastes like honey with some macro lager in the background. Thin, with light carbonation. Seriously, this didn’t taste like the mixture of diesel fuel and abortion that I thought it would, but I couldn’t take more than a couple sips. I don’t think the 13 years changed it at all, as the folks in the room that had had it before thought it tasted pretty much the same. Awesome.

Pale yellow pour with a white head. Splotchy lacing. I get corn, grass, greasy alcohol. Tastes weirdly greasy. It actually coats the mouth. Not quite what I remember.

40oz, thanks to caterwaul. Shared with local raters. Totally clear golden color. Thin white head quickly fades to minimal, virtually nothing. Sort of tart, corn, wet bready aroma. Lemony acidic bite to the taste up front. Moderate tart, sweet taste. Light bite, garbage-like funkiness. Light to medium body, from what I can gather from the small sips I’m forcing myself to take. Harsh, rough, lighter carbonation. Lightly slick texture. Awful lager. Awful. Nothing about this is tasty or drinkable. Couldn’t stand more than 4 ounces of this. Light burn, even. Ugh... Totally inappropriate for 6%, just rough overall. Hurlicane, more like it

40oz shared by DrSilverworm. Filtered yellow tan body. Fading, but at first a respectable head. Buttery factory aroma..not too harsh in the grand scheme of beer hell. Buttery, popcorn touches. Somehow smooth and easy, and says " Why don’t you just pound me and get it over with?". Too sugary, approaching Eastern Block grossness. Undesirable.

40 oz bottle to taster (generously shared by DrSilverworm). Looks subpar; a completely transparent metallic gold with white head that quickly dissipates into thin lacing. Smells and tastes like a cheap 40 buzz; corn, metal, and butt pie. Definitely below average on the mouthfeel. Scroll past.

This may be the worst thing to ever enter my mouth. Vinegar corn malt syrup. Looked fine. But that about the only good
