3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Bif (625) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - APR 13, 2012
On tap- Served a hazy copper color with a small head that fades to bits of lacing. Aroma of fruit, coriander, spices bit of malt sweetness and grain. Mixed flavor of fruit and mild malt sweetness, spices with a bit of grain. There is a pleasant bitterness in the background with a dry finish. Medium body, smooth with no hint of the 6.6 ABV. Nice drinker that goes down easy. My favorite of the HHH offerings.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ChainGangGuy (3837) - Canton, Georgia, USA - FEB 17, 2009
Appearance: Pours a hazy, copper-hued body with a smallish, off-white head.
Smell: Lightly grainy, vaguely sweetish nose bathed in richly-scented spices.
Taste: Mildly grainy, mildly tangy, and mildly sweet wheat flavor upfront. A touch floral and fruity, then it’s on to the distinct spices: lemongrass, earthy coriander, and particularly punchy grains of paradise. All of the various tastes meld well enough as you transition into a dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A decent Belgian-style beer packed with spices. The strong nature of the spices keeps this one a slow sipper speed.
