An American Pale Ale in a Pacific Northwest style. Plentiful amounts of cascade hops give a citrus flavor balanced by crystal malts.

Soft golden amber with a tawny hue. No head to speak of, could be the tap. Nose and flavor are reminiscent of Two Hearted. Round and juicy with some citrus and bubblegum. Medium light bodied.

Kentucky Fried Charleston Trip Beer #128. Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention, nice lacing. Aroma of tropical, spicy, piney hops, caramel malt. The taste is spicy, piney, citrus hops, toffee malts and a mild peppery off-note. Thin-medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness.

Draft at the brewpub. Reddish bronze beer with a firm, biscuity malt basis. Even-keeled drinker. I’d call it a middle of the road amber beer. (#5001, 4/2013)
