Kentucky Fried Charleston Trip Beer #128. Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention, nice lacing. Aroma of tropical, spicy, piney hops, caramel malt. The taste is spicy, piney, citrus hops, toffee malts and a mild peppery off-note. Thin-medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness.

Draft at the brewpub. Reddish bronze beer with a firm, biscuity malt basis. Even-keeled drinker. I’d call it a middle of the road amber beer. (#5001, 4/2013)
