| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 7, 2009 Appearance: Inviting black body capped with a frothy, beige-colored head.
Smell: Roasty nose with a very distinct, very appealing coffee scent. There’s a rich, gooey note to it, like sniffing a homemade cookie batter.
Taste: Rich roastiness that, along with the mildly sweet coffee taste and creaminess of the beverage, makes it feel like you’re sipping on melted coffee ice cream. An earthy bitterness compliments the roasty component. Finishes dry and roast with a small final taste of dark chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-low carbonation. Slight overall creaminess to the mouthfeel.
Drinkability: Thumbs up! A very enjoyable robust stout from Huske Hardware.
