UPDATED: NOV 19, 2013 Growler pours with a crystal clear copper body that has gold hues and supports a full tan head. The modest aroma offers up muted orange and tangelo citrus notes along with a slight citrus like gummy bear sensation. The taste is …. yep, this will do . . full rich juicy and resiny with hops. I’m diggin’ this. This has loads of citrus hop flavor giving it that juicy citrus yumminess. I get malt sweetened tangelo and grapefruit hop flavor that flows into more and more of a resiny hop bite. The citrus hop flavors and resiny bitterness just mingle and flow into a smooth finish. Wow! This IPA flavor is ‘money’ but a bit more aroma would be nice.

>> Clear orange pour, bigger foam, tremendous lace. Nose is gamey citrus, armpit, funk. Taste is somewhat vegetal and nutty astringent. Not my style. Nutty, dusty.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 3/8/14, Rating #3535

Aroma: The nose is on-style, plenty of tropical and citrus fruit, and some pine/resin
Appearance: It pours a mostly clear golden-orange color with a decent sized head
Flavor: The flavor is lightly sweet, nice and juicy, with a nice, medium-plus hop bitterness to it
Palate: The body is medium, with a solid drinkability, and a clean, dry finish
Overall Impression: I liked this one. This is a nice, enjoyable, well-made IPA. I think it is fair to say that if this is a brewery’s first beer (as the description above indicates) they are on their way to good things.

An orange amber ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet biscuit malt with piney and resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, clovers, very nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with piney and resinous hops, not overwhelming, very nice and pleasant. On tap at brewery.

Clear golden pour with a white head. A nice hoppy aroma with mainly citrus and resiny notes. Taste is similar and pretty damn good.

Guest tap at Fate. Clear copper color with a nice white head and sticky lacing. Typical IPA aroma of sweet hops with a little resin. Very nice flavor with sweet malt, grapefruit pith and a lingering resinous bitterness. Well brewed.

Clear gold pour at Fate, nice fluffy white head. Aroma is grassy and citrus hops, flavor starts with a punch and ends with a kick. Quite hoppy, resinous, grassy, citrus peel. Bitter finish.

Had at Flannys Annv party. One of the only beers whose aroma stood out from the taster cups. Lots of pine and garlic hop notes. Light golden color, full bodied. One of the best beers there.
