COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

long lasting, dense white foam on a amber, golden cloudy beer. fruity nose, strong aroma of rye bread, little banana in the back overall lies a simple acidity. creamy, sticky sweet palate, munich malty long sweet aftertaste. rather heavy body for the style. simple weizenbier missing the zesty gusto!

(Bottle 100 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy golden with a dense, off-white head. Plenty of banana esters in the nose - and yeast. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel, sweet banana accents, yeast and cloves and a light touch of phenols. A light and friendly Hefe. 060708

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer wtih an off-white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with light notes of banana, and so is the flavor though also with a note of straw. Thanks a lot yespr for briging this to Copenhagen and sharing.

1L syphon. Pours hazy orange with a crispy and a slowly collapsing white head. Light butterish and ester aroma. Flavour is mild sweet initially and shows a more pronounced wheaty flavour joing into this. Interestingly there is also a decent caramel malt base. Mix of caramel and wheat into the finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Hazy, orange-red with a small, dense head. The aroma has notes of banana and light notes of clove and wheat. The flavour has sweetness, notes of clove, banana and wheat. It’s smooth and nice, easy to drink and uncomplicated, but not among the really nice ones.
