(bottle, three weeks past the BB-date; with thanks to pivnizub !) Cloudy, hazy chestnut brown colour with a big but non-persisting, slightly off-white foamy head. Very fruits-accented aroma of dark berries with soft herbal notes. Sweet and sour flavour; medium to light bodied mouthfeel. Slightly mouldy wheaty taste with a distinctive fruitiness of dark berries; dryish, fruity and malty finish. Rather uncommon, but quaffable fruit-accented Dunkelweizen.

It’s unclear dark brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel, light butter especially initially, yeast, wheat and a little fruit. The sweet flavor has the same notes, and the finish is slightly spicy. I think it’s a bit weak overall.

Pours dark cloudy orange. Banana and clove aroma. Similar flavours with a chocolate note on the back.

Im Geruch hefig, nuanciert fruchtig und Malzzuckertöne. Sahnig dichter Antrunk, der durch seine leichte Holzigkeit nicht so einladend wirkt. Süßröstige Mitte. Abgangs dann forsch malzbitter mit röstigen Noten. Wirkt unrund. Geht so.Test vom 14.9.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche

The color is dark copper, the foam has fine pores and keeps a long time. On the ground of the glass are huge yeast particles. Bitter-malty smell, very subtle yeasty. Starts slight bitter malty, subtly yeasty in the background, with a sugary sweet note. The aftertaste is lax malty, slightly sour.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Slightly hazy ambery brown colour, mediumsized foamy beige head. Aroma is toasted malts, some toffee, mild fudge, wheat and some slight yeastyness. Flavour is toffee, wheat, some mild toasted malts, banana as well as some yeastyness. Very smooth carbonation. A Dunkelweizen perfect for my taste.

Amber with a lasting white head. Aro ma of bread and banana. Sweet banana dominated flavour with a slightly sour finish

Bottle. Sweet banana, clove and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy orange-brown color with moderate head. Sweet banana/orange and toffee wheat malt flavor. Nice body. Very good.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2010. Pours muddy amber with a creamy white head and lacings. Sweet banana and bread. Vaguely tart fruity flavor. A bit thin.

Bottle. Hazy amber with a medium white head. The aroma is banana, toasted caramel and some clove. The flavour is banana, clove and caramel. Straight forward dunkel weisse.
