Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a dark brown colour with a thick bubbly off-white head. The aroma is a little malty and yeasty. The flavour is a little sour, yeasty and with some malt on the palate. Very drinkable and I’d like to try it a little cooler one day.

Bottle looks good, although its a bit complex. Beer in the glass dark, almost black, nice head. Starts strong, fine malty, not too roasty. Some interesting malty-spicy notes with fruity hints. Finish more dry, well balanced. Warming aftertaste. Nice!

The head is medium, the body red-brown. The taste is bitter, malty, a bit chocolate. In the aftertaste bitter, sweet, aromatic. I like this! 12/11/11/12/-/12

Served very cold. Filtered brown, tan head. Standard bock feel, mild aroma at best. Some dark fruits and caramel. Good carbonation. Accessible and malty. It’s okay. (On tap
