(Bottle 30 cl) Courtesy of MiP. Clear, warm orangey brown with an off-white head. Lightly vinous aroma of roasted malts. Quite full-bodied completely dominated by clean and sweetish roasted malts perfectly balanced by some bittering hops. A nice and harmonious brew. 240807

Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Very dark brown color, small expresso head. Sweet dark fruits dominate the aroma (plums, dates), also some caramel malts. Crisp carbonation. Licorice, plums, dark malts, some hops and then alcohol in the finish. Nice lingering licorice flavor in the aftertaste. Very good tasty doppelbock ... it is a not Celebrator but very wellmade..

On tap (PINT BOKBIERF. 09):Clear, deep amber coloured with ruby sparks and a big beige head, that slowly collapses; moderate dark-malty, caramelly nose with a tinge of molasses; moderate, quite dry bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; increasing dryness in the bitter-sweet finish, a tinge of molasses included. Pleasant..........

(bottle) Hazy reddish-brown hue with yeast floaties and a small foamy beige head. Sweet nose with roasted malts and yeasts. Moderately sweet flavour and taste, medium body, lively carbonated mouthfeel. Initially roast-malty taste with caramel. Almost dry finish with a sharp roast-malty bitterness. Decent but not very convincing brew.
