(Hutthurmer Gourmet Bier) Bottle 330 ml from Beerhunter111, thanks! Into a shaker, ABV 4.9% Pale yellow colour on the body, crystal clear, with a small and thin white head on top with low retention. Aroma of malts, grains, leaves. Taste has also malts but less notable than on the aroma, nicely hopped actually, some grass. Quite bitter with a long aftertaste. Medium thin body, high carbonation. Not bad at all.

0,33 l bottle, new label art design. Pours out light golden, clean white head, a lot of CO2 pearls. Grassy on the nose. Starts soft with a low herb. Citrus sweetness, light grainy. Some bitterness in the very late aftertaste. Think it´s more a spicy Helles than a Pilsener.

It’s golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, flower and fruit. The flavor is moderately sweet with notes of malt, fruit, flower, caramel, light bread, and the finish is dry. Harmonic and nice thirst quencher.

In short: A clean but bland and thin pils lacking hops
How: Bottle 330ml at Fusion, Brasov, Romania
The look: Clear blonde body topped by a very small white head
In long: Timid nose of cereals and very light notes of dry grass. Taste is a bit too clean/sterilized, a bit of minerals, basic crisp cereals, light notes of yellowed grass. This beer is clean, crisp and well balanced beer but everything is just too toned down. Too clean and flavourless to be bad, but also anything to excite the taste buds. A big disappointment considering this is a pils from a brewery that makes another pils that is excellent (Hutthurmer Premium Pils). Old bottle? Hard to say when you buy it in a bar. The taste was about as strong as a new-age vegetarian with a bad flu.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Sweet malty nose with grassy hops. Medium body, good, clean and straight malts with a sulphurous edge. Ends dry but not overly bitter. 271111

Bottle. It pours a clear, slighlty pale, golden body and a small, off-white head. Malty nose with a touch of cooked vegetables. Piney, grassy hoppyness too, but just a little bit. It’s quite dry in the mouth, medium bodied and with a soft carbonation. The flavor has a touch of cooked corn, with pale malts and some fruityness. A quite decent beer, but Gourmet? Don’t think so. 111127

bottle from Passau. Clear yellow colour, mid-sized fluffy white head. Malty base, resiny hops with a herbal touch. Not as hoppy as their Pils, still quite hop-accented. Good one.
