3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
It’s golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, bread and flower. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of flower, straw, citrus, malt and it’s fairly dry with a slightly bitter finish. Refreshing and nice.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2011 In short: A truly classic thirst german pilsner.
How: Bottle 500ml at La 100 de Beri, Bucharest Romania (many bottles)
The look: Clear blonde body topped by a small white head
In long: The pleasant hose is like a walk in a countryside field, fresh hay, dried wild flowers. Taste has plenty of crisp and slightly honeyed cereals, hay and straw, a slice of lemon zest. Mild bitterness that is part yellowed grass, part dried flower petals. Also a mild tartness that makes it even more refreshing. And just enough dryness to make you want to drink 10 gallons of it. This is simply one of the best bottled pils I’ve had in my life. I can’t believe the low ratings on this beer. This is a great beer that people are not able to appreciate. But I can. You know that feeling where you feel smarter than everyone else? I love that feeling. I really love to read session lagers ratings on ratebeer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Pale golden with a greenish sheen, small persistent foamy white layer; buttery, pale-malty and mainly floral-hoppy nose; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and not too dry, a bit fizzy; lingering dry buttery-hoppy finish, some sweet pale malt as a counterweight. Good Bohemian Pilsner.....

Bottle, Italian restaurant in Fuerth-im-Wald.
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is clear light to medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (grain, cracker), moderately hoppy (flowers), with a note of lemon zest, light note of soap.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Pleasant little pils, actually. Very mild hint of soapiness in the background but otherwise a clean, bright, well-balanced pilsner.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, cheap Imbiss next to Weissbräu Bauer in Triftern. Light hoppy aroma, malty flavor with just a bit of rest sweetness and a light hoppiness. Agreable pilsener, but not a prize winner.
