Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, cereal, light hoppy, grass notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, malty, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100604]

bottle from Getränke Degenhart Passau. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head, quite surprising aromatic hop aroma. Solid malty background with some really nice hop flavours, slightly resiny and lemony. Good!

Bottle: Pale golden to golden, greenish sheen, small stable white layer; moderate sweet grainy-buttery nose, woody hops underneath; medium bodied, smooth; moderate sweet-bitter flavour; slightly lingering citrussy-hoppy and sweet grainy finish. Not bad....

Clear golden with a medium white head. Malty aroma with caramel and mild grassy hops. Malty flavour with caramel and grassy hops. Finished fairly dry.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond loose foamy head of medium size. Strawy and slightly draffy pale malty aroma. Sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Strawy and slightly draffy malty taste with a very discreetly hoppy spice; medium-dry, sweet and shy bitter hoppy finish. All in all a solid Export, just a tad on the sweet side. 12.VIII.10

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and hay. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, and hay, leading to a dry bitter finish.

4th June 2010. Bottle at Johnny’s Off License, Rome. Clear gold beer. Light semi dry palate. Clean malt, a little caraway. Tiny bit of hop balances things out. Finishes semi dry. Typically competant but dull German beer!
