Draft at One Pint. Hazy golden color, thick white head, great lacing. Aroma of bitter lemon. Taste is decently bitter with pine > citrus > grass. Nice.

On cask at One Pint Pub. Transparent gold, thin white ring, spotty head. Nose of fruity pebbles, the hops aged here and a bit of light dust. Flavor is brighter with citrus and orange, some cardboard as well. Carbonation high for the muted profile.

Draught at One Pint Pub, Helsinki (as Malmgård Alpo’s IPA). Hazy pale amber, small head. Fruity, slightly grapefruity nose. Mid sweet with clean mouthfeel and medium body. Very fruity with really bitter finish. More fruity and hard than hop aromatic.

Draught@One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Slightly hazy golden pour with medium white head. Aroma is fruity with citrus, light grassy hops and malt. Flavor has same fruit and citrus also with some malt but a light bitterness. (Rated 2011/04/23)

Draught at HBF 2011. Hazy orange body, small white head. Aroma has some berries and grainy malt. Flavour has lots of bitterness and flowery hop flavours. Rich in malt.

Hazy yellow golden colour with white head. Very mild fruity hoppy aroma. Grainy, malty flavour with stinging bitterness. Even slightly off-putting. Not very balanced nor fresh IPA. Mild. Disappointment.

Draught @HBF 2011. Poured orange color with a thin white head. Aroma was very fruity, orange and citrus. Flavor was hops, grapefruit and citrus. Quite short bitter finish. Easy to drink, quite refreshing.

Draught at HBF2011. Malmgård’s - the successor to Huvila - Alpo’s IPA. Pours orange. Aroma is fruity, citrusy, a bit yeasty and hoppy. Taste is citrusy, fruity with some maltiness. Not very bitter or hoppy. Palate is medium and carbonated.
