3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 MacMoney (735) - Alabama, USA - JUL 25, 2012
Tap @ brewpub. Pours slightly hazy orangey amber with a medium, yellowish-brown head. Aroma is grapefruit, caramel, slight citrus, slight sour. Taste is caramel, pith, grapefruit. Mixed fruit juice lingering in the background. An off-taste? Stiff pithy, grapefruit and pine in the aftertaste. Dry, though not that bitter. Palate is quite carbonated and quite full. Maybe something off a bit with this batch? Though love the aftertaste.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 rosenbergh (4653) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 9, 2012
Draught at Huvila, Savonlinna, Finland.
Clear deep golden colour with small off-white head.
Hoppy aroma. American Amber Ale hops, mild sweetness and dryness too. Malt is there as well.
Flavour sweetish hoppy with some dryness and caramel malt. Quite watery though. Drinkable but boring.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 lada66 (50) - Savonlinna, FINLAND - AUG 23, 2010
UPDATED: JUL 10, 2011 Another new ale from Huvila Brewery.
Very good balance between malt and hops. Very easy to drink. A good summer ale maybe a little bit lighter than Golden Ale ( another Huvila’s summer ale ). Only available in the brewpub.
(Updated) The same thing happened with Amber Ale than Golden Ale. The new brew with the different yeast makes the beer totally different. This Summer (2011) version is an excellent beer with totally different flavor than year before. Maybe the best beer the new Huvila brewery has brewed so far.
