50cl bottle. Dark amber colour with a small off-white head. Juniper, fruity hops and malt in the nose. Flavour is very junipery with malt, fruity hops, some bitterness and sweetness. Maybe a bit too much junipers, but still quite good brew.

Bottle at home. Has a hazy reddish brown colour with a beige medium head. Aroma of berries, leather, dried fruit, chocolate, rye bread and caramel. Sweet flavour with more caramel and berries. Nice. Slick mouth feel, and has a light bitterness. A balanced and great beer. Easy drinking as well.

Deep mahogany color. Belgian yeast nose with a lot of caramel. Taste follows. Finishes sweet. Very much like a Belgian dubel all around. Kind of dubel meets winter warmer. Good with enchiladas with chimayo red chili. Expensive but that’s Finland for you.

Bottle. Hazy dark amber body. Small head with fine bubbles. Sweet hoppy aroma. Taste has toffee, caramel and plenty of hops. Juniper is not that evident. Or maybe it is, but it’s lost in the bitterness. Juniper also has a piney/herbal quality and I would have liked to taste more of that.

Et nydelig øl med en herlig krydret dyft av pepper og lakris. Lun og god smak med en ettersmak av lakris og malt. Et øl som ikke må være for kaldt. Godt øl som anbefales. Mørk nøttebrun farge nesten uten skum.

Dark reddish brown, slightly hazy. Thin, creamy head. Alkosta overwhelming juniper Aroma when too cold. Resiny juniper branches, bready and slightly nutty maltiness, caramel, sligtly sour roastedness. A hint of vegetables. Licorice and some chocolate in aftertaste with caramel resiny bitterness and juniper berries. Soft but somewhat thin body.
