Huvila Arctic Circle Ale is a chestnut coloured ale with a malty/fruity odour. It tastes of dark fruits and caramel malts and finishes off with a nice bitter hop tail. It is brewed with both juniper twigs and a large dose of Finnish attitude. It is available on tap an in bottles in bars and restaurants across Finland. Tasting at beer 14. Aroma has lots of malt and juniper. Rasting is light at first. Then you get the darker malts coming through.

Aromat: dość skromny - karmel plus owoce, głównie śliwki. alkoholu niewiele.

Wygląd: jasno rubinowa barwa, zamglona. Piana w kolorze ecru, średniej wielkości i umiarkowanie trwała.

Smak: karmel, śliwki, rodzynki, czekolada, herbatniki. Goryczka w okolicach średniej, z pewnością niższa niż sugerowana. Średnia do krągłej pełnia, niskie do umiarkowanego wysycenie i owocowa oraz alkoholowa końcówka.

[Bottle, thanks CaptainCougar!] Pours reddish-amber with a beige head. Odd aroma, juniper, some sweet fruitiness, yeast, very bready. Taste has some decent bitterness with a lot of yeast, some identifiable notes that I will attribute to the juniper, and a good deal of malt on the finish. Good mouthfeel with a long finish. Not a bad beer, and very unique.

Cloudy dark brown, small off-white head. Nutty aroma, some brown sugar. Spicy taste, some very strange notes I can’t define. Don’t like it very much. Medium body, creamy, soft carbonation. OK.

No, not very good. Uncomfortably sour flavors that do not mix with the caramel from the malt.

Licorice and some chocolate in aftertaste with caramel resiny bitterness and juniper berries. Soft but somewhat thin body.

Bottle from www.biershop.bierpost.com. Pours a copper colour with a just off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, fruit and mild spice. Bitter-sweet finish, average carbonation, medium body. Enjoyable. Deceptively drinkable for it’s abv.
