3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ Bruxellensis. Semi-hazy amber with a gorgeous, off-white head. Nose of biscuit malts and hops. Caramel, mildly roasty maly flavor rolls into stronger hops, semi-dry finish and a lightly bitter, lingering aftertaste. A tasty, well-made and balanced bitter.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught (Cold) hazy chestnut coloured beer; flocky cream-coloured small head. Very discreet nose (served very cold...) - bit of caramel, ambrée malt. Ambrée malt in the taste again, spicy, mushrooms flavour, ending quite roasted. Light to medium bodied, bit sticky, giving the impression of being overcarbonated without any visible signs of that. OK, nothing more.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught at Kaisla, July 07. Full taste bitter, very true to the style. Lots of malty flavour, with the hops adding extra dimensions - flowers, resin, a blanket of dry finish. A hint of yeast, too, but not intrusive.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught (Angleterre, Helsinki)
Perfect example of the ESB style, reminds me of the best English ESBs, and better than most of them! Wonderfully hoppy aroma, and rich nutty colour. Tastes a perfect combination of malt and hops. Brilliant ESB, nothing negative to say about it except for availability - I want it in every pub I visit!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. A decent hopppy bitter, with some nice, sticky, earthy, green hop flavours and a medium bitterness. Even though this was quite nice it still feels like it was missing something.

Lasting head, beautiful copper color. Richly fruity heavy aroma. Very hoppy, bitter, clearly cut flavor. A demanding but in no means a bad beer.
