COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Huvila E.S.B. – is a dark brown strong bitter, which is robustly hopped with Goldings hops. The aroma is fruity and warming, the taste is full and complex, with a long, hoppy and bitter after taste. A true E.S.B. with a lot of individual style. It is sold to retail clients in Finland through Alko, the Finnish monopoly retail distributor of beers with more than 4.7% Alc. It is also available on tap and in bottles in bars and restaurants across Finland. Since 2011, Huvila E.S.B. is also available in shops in Estonia through Drink Baar.

50cl bottle thanks to Miksu! Dark copper color with nice medium head. Carbonation is very soft and nice. Taste is medium bitter and light sour. Seems like the sourness isn’t suppose to be in here... Aroma is nice and hoppy, light fruit and dried fruits and also light to medium yeasty. The yeast aroma is strange but it’s a nice ESB anyway!

Pours dark reddish amber with low white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, citrus, light hops and malt. Taste is bready, malty and caramelly without really sticking out in any direction. Body is light to medium, fresh with soft carbonation.

RexTalionis (2369) - FINLAND - JUN 5, 2013
Bottled. Pours hazy amber in color with a small head. A bit of earthy notes and ripe apricot fruitiness in aroma. Slightly bitter gardenberries in taste. Even if the aroma is a bit off-putting I do lile this brew because quite soft fruityness and easy drinkability on a hot summerday at the seashore.

Good brew overall and as nice as Finnish beer as I’ve been able to find so far. Clean and crisp with a good heavy hop up front and nice mild floral and gritty notes. Well balanced but still hoppy .

Moebbels (288) - FINLAND - MAY 10, 2013
Pours a light brown color with a little cloudiness. Head is minimal and white in color. Nose is quite mild and fresh with notes of citrus. Taste starts of sweet and malty and comes with a dry hoppy aftertaste. Carbonation is minimal to the point of the beer feeling flat. Not quite as good as i hoped.

Not impressed. No hops. No finish. eSB? No. I actually like it but i have to rate it as an ESB. It sucks as an ESB.

Hazy red-brown beer with a thin head. Aroma is not that strong, some bready malts though. Taste has that good ESB balance of malts and hops.
