On tap, Kaisla pub. Red-orange, quite clear. Not head at all. Wonderful fresh fruit, and citric aroma, with a strong hoppy erbaceous component. Wonderfully matching with the strong hoppy taste, followed by a good fizzy feeling. The bitterness coat all the mouth and lasts for a while. Medium body. Wonderful ESB.

Bottle - Bruxellensis Festival. Dark chestnut with beige head. Great malty/ red/dark fruits on the aroma. Great malt/hop mix in the mouth. Rich flavours. great recreation of an ESB. Perfect balance between tasty malt and spicey hop.

Bottled, 50 cl. Pours clear flame red beer with a thick irregular head. Aroma: Raspberries, strawberries, dough, malts. Interesting aroma. Taste: Moderate sweetness, pleasant bitterness. More malty flavours with some raspberries. Palate: Medium bodied, pleasant feel, bitter finish with malt flavours. Overall: Very interesting beer.

Deep amber pour. There is a little bit of very earthy, spicy hoppy aroma. A touch of soft sweet maltiness. A fairly pronounced toasted malt character. There is a little bit of light spicy, dusty, earthy hops. Fresh and a little bit crackery. Soft and a little bit leathery. Fairly pronounced bitterness. A touch of herbal character. Quite lovely.

22nd May 2008. Sour brown beer but with a great deal of smoothness. Some subtle fruit and a well integrated hoppy bitter finish. Very very drinkable.

Very good finnish ale. Not as bitter and roasted compared to Fuller’s ESB, but very smooth, still rich in taste.

Nice hops, a little tangerine in the aroma and flavor. Not quite as robust in flavor as others in this style but the sum of the parts is very good, still.

from crackedkettle.com - pours a cloudy dark red-amber colour under an elusive beige foam; nice lacing; aroma of litchies, almonds and cloves; initialy creamy mouthfeel but soon continues tart and sharply bitter; medium-bodied underneath; the finish is long, dry and very bitter with fruity and honeyish notes - a beautiful hoppy brew

500ml bottle. Hazed orange. Dense toasted barley and husky orange peel nose. Full, chewy, hefty body, well-mashed, solidly hopped, well-balanced bitterness. Minerally yeast and gritty/dirty/husky malt in the finish is ridiculously pleasant. Pretty much what I dig in ESB. Noble hop bitterness, dirty, minerally yeast, medium dryness. Awesome.
