3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 TBone (9433) - Pori, - JUN 11, 2007
Draught@Black Door
Hazy amber color, creamy white head. Ashy and leafy aroma. Hops come sharp and biting: first they attack then mellow down. Crisp, refreshing bitter, with almost IPA-like hopping. Bittersweet, flowery hopping with long lasting aftertaste. Excellent brew from Huvila.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 tlind2 (840) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 17, 2008
Draught@Kaunis Kampela, Helsinki. Amber color, nearly no head. Hoppy aroma. Bitter taste with a malty background and a long finish. A very quaffable bitter in the English style.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 lada66 (44) - Savonlinna, FINLAND - MAY 27, 2008
Not as good as Huvila´s original bitter. A good bitter, easy to drink but nothing special. A lack of personality is the only problem comparing to the other Huvila ales.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 duff (5483) - St, Margarets, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 23, 2007
Draught@Bruxellensis. Felt very sweet to me, and very filtered down and dead (not sure about if its filtered/pasteurised). Sweet caramel and some touches of earthy hop charactyers, some orangey note and leafy hops. Tatsed a bit stale.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 MesandSim (7109) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 18, 2007
A Mes rate:
Draught at Bruxellensis. Nice bight amber colour with a slight off white head. Decent spicy hop aroma that is very bitter and dry. Flavour very much along the same lines. Light fruity notes and some malt underneath giving it pretty good balance. Very delicate caramel lending it a bit of sweetness. Bitter finish. Thoroughly enjoyable and very English. Much better than thousands of others we have to choose from over here.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 JoeinEscazú (1181) - San Jose, COSTA RICA - SEP 11, 2007
On tap @ Bruxellensis. Semi-hazy amber with off-white head. Faint caramel and biscuit-malt nose with some hops. Flavor is same, rolling into mild bitterness and a touch of dryness. More of a quaffer than the ESB, as you’d expect I reckon. Pretty nice quencher.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 JorisPPattyn (6746) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - SEP 10, 2007
Draught Clear deep-copper-amber beer with small yellowish head. Sulphur, dried fruits on sulphur, ambrée malts, touch of hops. BItter of hops, sweet of dried fruit (apricot?), and a lot of suphur in the end again, meybe even some rubber. But very good balance. Well balanced, but the beer ends a bit thin. Nice drinking ale.

Draught @ Bruxellensis. Flowery hops and apricot in the aroma. Thin. Flowery, somnewhat earthy hops in the flavor. Loads of fruity esters, apricot especially. Long earthy hopbitter aftertaste. Well balanced beer.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (10421) - Como, ITALY - AUG 22, 2007
Draught at Black Door, Helsinki Beautiful amber color, hazy; thin creamy head. The aroma is nice, but light. Good body strength, dry mouthfeel, strong caramel flavor, and a growing bitterness, very powerful at the end; in the final the malt and the hop mix very well together into a toffee impression. The final is extremely long. A perfectly brewed English styled Ale.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 oh6gdx (16084) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 2, 2007
Draught. Amber colour with mediumsized creamy off-white head. Aroma is fruitish hoppy and slightly grassy. Flavour has a lot of fruit in it and is really smooth. Aftertaste gets is also nicely fruitish hoppy. quite dry.
