3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pale golden color, large, but quickly diminishing white head; aroma is earthy, of citrusy hops and hints of biscuity malt; flavor is even hoppier, and somewhat fruity, with slight sweetness and a long bitter aftertaste - so long that after about a minute it actually starts to reveal some caramel notes; body is relatively light with moderate carbonation.

Thanks to Fatphil to guide me to Kaisla and try this one! A little cloudy orange color with a nice foam that keeps an enlace untill finish. Aroma is very soft some citrus fruity like orange and pears drop as well as hops inside. Flavor is hoppy and citrus quite dry. The finish is looong and bitter, really good.

(Bottle. Thanks to SaintMatty) Golden yellow colour with huge, frothy, white head. Leaving lots of lacing. Fruity nose with citrus, pineapple, apricots and fresh hoppy notes with lemon and grass aromas. Fruity, malty taste with notes of grainy malt, grass and fresh resiny, grapefruity hops in the finish. Rather light body and mainly dry. Very refreshing and tasty with a nice citric hop character.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
light amber-gold color. White big persisting head. Strong hoppy aroma, sharp citrucy american hops. Nice subtle malt profile, but not predominant. The hops really go wild!
Great balanced taste. I like this, clean and elegant. Mouthfeel just right, smooth, light.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
In short: A basic citrusy pale ale with an interesting barnyard twist
How: Bottle 50cl consumed fresh. Tasting session with Montreal crew.
The look: Almost clear dark yellow body topped by a very small white head
In long: Unusual nose (for the style) that blends citrusy hops and barnyard character! Smells like a cow soaked in citrus juice. Light-medium body. A little honey, a little less caramel. Earthy citrusy hops. Medium dry. Everything feels very ordinary here except for this rustic/countryside character but makes is a Helova Pale Ale

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
My Bottom Line:
Citrusy, floral hops bloom into a starkly earthy, humid character, creating a quenching countryside Pale Ale where light honeyed malts play second violin.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam surrounds the honeyed gold mist.
-Hop bitterness is quite pleasant, and rather leafy.
-This might not be entirely balanced, but it is highly characterful.
-The body is rather lean, increasing drinkability.
