Huvila Porter

Pours very dark, with a short-lived tan head. A very nice porter. Hints of dark chocolate and coffee. Thumbs up from here!

(bottle - 500 ml) Dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Aroma is sweet and roasted with a nice hint of chocolate and nuts. Flavor is smooth and malty with lots of roasted malts, caramel, chocolate, coffee, and some cream. Smooth and sweet and incredibly good.

Tasted at the San Diego International Beer Festival. Dark brown with a fizzy head. Sweet malty caramel aroma and taste.

Bottle. Brown-black beer with a tan head. Light roasty, nutty, light mineral aroma. Toffee, roast, and light chocolate flavor. Medium bodied. Toffee, roast, light earth, and light coffee lingers. More roasty than expected.

Bottle… mgumby10’s & hopscotch’s WtFFfFDotF Throwdown …This beer rocks!... Pours pitch black with a small, creamy, light brown head. Excellent retention. The aroma is chocolaty and nutty. Full-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and relaxed carbonation. The flavor is sweet and chocolaty with hints of espresso and cocoa nibs. Finishes nutty, chocolaty and sweet. Thanks to mgumby10 for sharing his bottle of this world class beer!

Pours a dark brown color, with a big, frothy, bubbly, light brown head. Smells of some chocolate cream, and roasted malt, but fairly light on its aroma profile. Nothing really big and bold, but nothing bad either. The flavor is pretty heavier on the flavor. Lots of big chocolate characters, roasted malt, and a touch of some coffee as well. A little malty sweet in the finish, which turns to burnt roast and some hops as well. I thought it was a very solid little porter.
