3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 humlelala (687) - - NOV 16, 2012(50 cl bottle from Bunker Beer; BBD: August 2nd 2014) Pours black with huge, chocolate milk-coloured head. The head collapses after a while leaving something floating in the centre. The lace is nice. As I’ve recently found with many beers it’s possible to reinvigorate the head by circulating the beverage in the glass. Aroma is subdued roasted malt with a nutty impression and a hint of smoke. Mouthfeel is somewhere between oily and creamy, soft carbonation, medium body with a roasted finish. Taste is quite approachable yet also somewhat bland - neither particularly sweet nor bitter, roasted or ascorbic.

Bottle. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, grains, some smoked notes, chocolate and soy sauce. Flavor is sweet and roasted with some caramel, coffee, grains and chocolate. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Palme (2250) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 8, 2013
0.5l bottle. This is a clear deep dark one with a small brown bubbly top that quickly fades to the sides of the glass. Nice roasted aroma with some chocolate, coffee and a nice sweetness. Not to complicated just pleasant and nice. It’s right below average on the carbonation and the mouthfeel is light oily. Quite a good amount of flavors here. Deep roasted - almost on the verge of light burned, good bitter dark chocolate, cold strong coffee and those sweet caramel things you put in the coffee at gas stations. It’s leaving a really dark roasted chocolaty flavor in my mouth for a long time this. Impressingly flavorful and I think this has to be one of the best beers I’ve had from our neighbours up in the east. I used to know a Finish word once, but when I talked to a Finn, that actually turned out to be totally wrong. 05.02.2013
