COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Artevelde Grand Cru features a dark red-brown colour, a firm, creamy, and cream-coloured head. The smell of roasted malt, caramel and the sweet fruitiness of the alcohol give this beer the perfect aroma. Caramel, sweet fruitiness and a pleasant bitterness are the predominant flavours. Its aftertaste reveals a pinch of toffee and date. Ingredients: water, barley malt, hops, yeast. Triple fermented.

Huyghe often has a special dry-sweet yeast. This one has that as well. It makes this otherwise ordinary Belgian blond a little bit more special.

Alcohol is up front in the aroma but notes of fruit and sugary sweetness come through. Hazy brown-amber body is topped by a shy, off-white head that recedes to a partial cover. Sweet, fruity and boozy flavour. Medium-light body with strong carbonation. Tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle.

Piana solidna i wielka i trwala. Zapach octowy troche winny. W smaku takze troche cierpkie i octowe. Troche ciemnych winogron w tle. Finisz dlugi i kwaskowaty. Bardzo dobry wyrob, najlepszy jaki browar oferuje w swojej bardzo szerokiej ofercie

Draft @ in Brugge. Dark brown with a thick, foamy head. Aroma of toffee, cocoa, nuts, alcohol and spice. Flavor is sweet dark fruit, caramel, alcohol heat and a spicy finish. Medium body with a smooth feel. Pretty good beer, slightly sweet.

Suprisingly dark brown body with large tan head. Dry forest aroma, humous, fig, candy sugar. Simple taste profile, light bitter with roasted malts and not much sweetness. Big cabonation als is a bit, well, to much. Not quite what I hoped it to be. (33cl bottle from Bierparadijs)

Bottle, 330 ml, at home. Poured into a tulip glass. ABV 7.3%. 1.69€ Very dark magohany brown colour, with some ruby shades when hold against the light. A bit less than two fingers of tan head, with low retention for its most part, but a thin film of foam stays to cover the beer’s surface. No lacing left on the glass. Aroma of dark fruits, fruit sugars, some light alcohol. Very nice. Taste is very sweet. with some iron notes. Lots of fruits here, mostly dark ones like plums. Aftertaste is also sweet with mostly the fruit sugars notable. Nice body, medium thick but more carbonation than it was needed. Overall, and although is quite sweet, this one was pleasantly drinkable.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, dark amber to brown colour with a big and tanned foamy head. Slightly sugary toast-malty aroma with notes of dark and red berries, also hints of alcohol. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toasty malt-character with notes of candy sugar, berry fruits and a tinge of caramel; sweet and fruity finish with a mildly spicy and alcoholic touch. 21.II.13
