4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml; Ok , ive kindly been given this beer three times this festive season its £10 a bottle on "special release" 750ml bottle -ill pick some up myself in the new year; My bottle is brewed for Marks and Spencer by Huyghe, look its the same beer as this listing . Im not sure what these nerds bellow who give this a low score have been drinking . Ive spent time with this beer so im biased, but its flavoursome and slicker than typical triples . Too many triples are gluey , cumbersome and with unslick spicy -boozy crap ! This triple however is refreshing , light and smooth. Nose suggests pepper corn. tart green apple acidity . haystacks . booze . grassy hops . rich maltiness. Yellow/golden with nice white head, man , im used to this shit -i gave a 3.6 last week but its better -just shows r8’ing is important . Flavours have going for them a blance between rich and peppery alocholic texture , something lots of triples fail to offer or deliver . notes of floral hops . apple .peach .. lemon zest . straw . floral hops offering lemon.. sugary. iron . spice is mild . Tangy rich malt ,with toffee essence . A compact , tight ass Triple -very slick.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, pale golden beer with a small, off-white head sitting on top. Nice touch of alcohol in the aroma, combined with fruits, pale malts and white sugar. The flavor doesn’t reach the same level, but close, with fruits, alcohol, white sugar, some bitterness and faint hints of spices. Full-bodied, quite dry and warming. Bitter finish with pale malts and fruits. Overall, too much on the warm side, else it’s a decent beer indeed. 091024

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Towering, just yellow-coloured head over metallic golden beer, well-carbonated. Slightly harsh grain & alcoholnose; bit of vanilla-cream. Horrible almondy-bitter alcoholflavour, harsh, uncouth, over sugary base. Bit of citrus retronasal. Raw palate; well-attenuated. Huyghe at its worst.
