Very pale amber colour. However, whilst it almost looks like a blonde ale, malt dominates the aroma and palate. Some subtle hop nuances in the flavour, but the mouthfeel is soft and there is a slightly clammy undertone. Clean, but rather unassertive finish. Not unpleasant, but nothing to really grab me here. I’m not entirely sure what the brewer is trying to achieve with this one. Cask (handpump), Lord Moon of the Mall (JDW) , Whitehall, London SW1.
