Tap at Hydro Street. Unfiltered, thick brown-tan. Big, steady off-white head. Yeasty thick IPA. Not quite English, not West Coast, standard brewpub style, maybe a little heavier with the malt. Moderate piny, citrus hoppitude, pretty balanced overall. Fairly sweet, with some unrefined sugary malt tones. Leans towards English flavor, but the bulky body isn’t English at all.

Deep amber color. Sweet malt aroma with some citrus and candy mixed in. Flavor quickly shifts from a light caramel sweetness to an astringent citrus and pine bitterness. Quite strong, and semi-harsh. Soap-sud like finish. Evens out a bit with more drinking, but just not working for the most part.

Skyview (5183) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - APR 22, 2012
On draught at the Hydro Street brewpub in downtown Columbus, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear amber colored brew with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of both citrus and medicinal hops, some light caramel malt and a touch of spicy herbs. Taste is medium bodied, mostly medicinal hops that over powers any caramel malt profile. Finish is heavy medicinal, metallic and lingering bitterness.

On tap at the brewpub. This one seemed to have more malt and less hops. Not what I was expecting and I was looking for more hops.
