Nov 13, 2009 Draught at the brewery. Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells and tastes lightly hoppy and earthy with some spicy elements and a toasty finish.

Feb 19, 2009 On tap at brewery. Tasted several of the offerings here and enjoyed them all but cannot remember any specifics. It’s always good to get fresh beer. Hopefully I can get myself back there to gather better rating info.

Feb 27, 2008 22 oz bottle, via BA ppoitras. Pours a clear dark gold body with a nice foamy one finger off white head that settled to a thin film. The nose is light bready and toasted malt with a very minimal floral hop nose. Light cooked veggies as it warmed up a bit. The flavor is of crusty bready malt, some light caramel, and a lightly bitter hoppiness. A little background vegetal note throughout, but becomes more pronounced as it warms further. Kind of dull tasting really. Mouthfeel is light bodied with a watery texture and fizzy prickly carbonation. Overall, not a particularly inspiring APA, it needs to have the hops kicked up a bit and have that vegetal streak cleaned up.

Oct 26, 2007 on tap-pours a disappearing white head and copper color. Aroma is mild hops, some medium malt. Taste is somewhat bitter/spicy hops, some medium malt-caramel. OK carbonation. 3.7 There was an issue with some of the bottled beer, but won’t adjust the rating at this point.
