Murky dark amber pour with a khaki head. Strangely sour on the nose. Lots of alcohol, dark fruit, and brown sugar. Banana, plum, and dates, some mild spice notes, too. Absolutely cloying sweetness on the flavor. Booze, tartness, dark fruit, and more sugar. Mild spice and lightly medicinal.

Tap at I & I thanks to womencantsail. Muddy maroon pour. Webbier lace. Beige foam. Odd nose. Citrus peel plus medicinal notes. Taste is very sticky and acrid. Medicinal. Pretty awful. Sugary. Some mismatch Scotch alcohol flavor, citrus hoppiness, and medicinal syrupiness. Thick, cloying, syrupy, boozy. Why are brewers equating Scotch ale with Scotch the distilled liquor?
