2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A: The pour is an orange-amber color with a finger of white head.
S: Starts off with a bit of citrus peel and floral hops. There is a light herbal note and pine, too. Although there are a decent number of different hop notes, the aroma is dominated by the sweet maltiness.
T: A pretty bland flavor. Lots of cracker and bready malt flavors with very little in terms of hop flavors. A bit of bitterness, some floral and pine hop notes, and some more sweetness of toffee malts.
M: Light bodied with a medium level of carbonation.
O: Lackluster. Not something Iíd care to try again.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy and honey colored with a nice head and nice lace rings after each sip. Texture is full on the tongue; finishes a bit sticky. Malt flavors have notes of chalk, caramel and cocoa powder. Hops are pleasantly floral, as is the moderate bitterness. Decent IPA overall; albeit a bit too malt forward for my liking, with hops that arenít vibrant enough. That said, I did like the orange-zest-like flavor that built as the beer warmed.

pale gold, white head. musty puddle chinook like bitterness with a hard and firm malt base thatís crusty and minerallic. concrete dry finish, pungent sharp killer hop cone oils and pine resin and dried fruit rind. surprisingly good pale IPA, though a bit syrupy.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle:   Cloudy orange hued straw, large frothy white head, very nice lacing.   This looks great, not clear, nice head & lacing... looking forward to this one.   Citrus rind and resiny grapefruit on the nose, also a bit of a hop bouquet.   Hoppy on the tongue, citrusy, thankfully not having a huge rind aspect.   Moderate sweetness.   This is one solid IPA!   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   This is one flavorful IPA.   It doesnt have any of that rind bitterness that just lingers.   Instead its actually a hoppy bitterness, combined with a bit of citrus sweetness.   I am really digging this one.   I am on my third IPA writing this review... hehehe...   Solid IPA that I am happy is now avaialble in Seattle.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, from my friend Rachel, who brought this one back from Washington for me. Mighty kind of her! Hmmm... This IS bottled, and is clearly NOT the Fresh-hop IPA, this is also 6.7%, not 7.5. Odd. Pours quite cloudy medium gold/orange, medium 1-finger white head that is quite persistent, and laces quite well also. Nose is juicy citrus hops, some spiciness here also, very fresh and bright, some caramelly malt notes here too. Flavours run to the bright citrus and syrupy orange/grapefruit "juiciness" that I got from the Harvest Pale as well. The grapefruit syrup character is so pronounced that Iím suspecting Simcoe influence here. Finish is dry and spicy. A very solid, middle-of-the-road IPA.

The Ice Harbor i.p.a. named I.P.A was their second best beer Iíve had. With an abundance of hopful taste this beer shot above the others as a special i.p.a distinct from others. This beer comes well recommended.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden bodied with a thin white head. Nice floral nose of NW citrus hops, we are near Yakima after all. Malts give a slight taste of honey but are quickly overtaken by the piny bitter finish. Pretty nice IPA and best of the sampler. I could see this surviving in Portland even with our over-run of IPAs.
