I like the design of the can. It would taste better in a bottle. The price for now is great! The taste was typical of a malt liquor. I will buy it again due to the economy.

For a strong malt inexpensive beer, one of my favorite! Just one of these (24 oz. beer the equivalent to almost 4 lager beers because its 8% alcohol) for around $1.50! I think its a good value and one is all I need! Plus, its only around 240 calories in 24 oz.!
Decent tasting, low calorie, low cost beer!

Purchased at "New York Deli", an Indian Mom-n-Pop store in the North Fairmount ghetto of Cincinnati - Hey, it’s actually acceptable "wino fuel"with a slightly sweet taste and no nasty adjuncts and aftertaste. It is quite acceptable for being what it is.

Nice! Yellow pour, medium white head. Corny cereal with some grass and just a touch of grapes. Flavor is a bit muted on this one, drier than most malt liquors. Clean finish, not much hint of the booze. Not bad.

Icehouse Edge has a thick, white head and a clear, somewhat bubbly, golden appearance. There isn’t much lacing here. The aroma is of sweet, musty, wet grain, and the taste is of alcohol, corn, dank and heavy grain, a bit of hops, sugar, and other undefinable substances. Mouthfeel is medium, and Icehouse Edge finishes mostly dry, heavy, and harsh. This is a serious beer for hopeless alcoholics. Try some, if you dare. RJT

Golden yellow color with a medium white head. The alcohol content is hidden pretty well. Not too bad. I will re-rate this when I haven’t had 3 or 4 beers before this one.

From the 24 oz. can stamped DEC3112-F07020418. The pour is yellow with a foamy, white head and plenty of carbonation. Before I even pour it into the glass I get a powerful aroma of corn, grain, a bit of meaty fruit even, and clean crisp hops. The body is thin but not watery. The taste begins grainy and sharp with a slight alcohol bite kicking in toward the end, which is not surprising given its style. That bite lingers for a moment. As a malt liquor it is about average.

oh boy! This has to be Millers response to AB’s Natty Daddy. While this is NOT really all that good, it is wayyyy better than Natty Daddy by a mile and then some. I wouldn’t buy this again, but if given I’d drink it again. Average looking pour with almost no aroma or head, it doesn’t have a horrible taste. A fairly decent alcohol delivery system. I paid $1.09 for a 24 ounce can at a liquor store in an area I always have my Glock when I visit.

Pours a pretty pale color with a big fluffy white head that leaves some lacing on the glass.
The aroma is pretty classic, like what I remember beer smelling like when I was a kid... so probably it just smells like PBR or Busch back in 89’. Got a little corn but a lot of metallic aroma with a little alcohol.
The flavor is like super corny, like almost a corn tortilla kind of flavor. Some of that fruity (grapey) alcohol flavor is there which grows more prominent with each sip. The hop bitterness is pleasant for the style.
If I remember Ice House very well at all, this tastes nothing like it.

24oz can poured into a shaker. Pours a clear pale gold with about a finger of white head. Aroma of cereal and corn with a hint of caramel and some sour green grapes or apples. Taste is medium sweet and very lightly sour. The alcohol is very very well hidden. Corn and grains with a good bit of caramel and some more of the sour green stuff. Medium bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively carbonation and a longer finish. Overall, really not that bad. I may have to pull a pepsiedcan and walk home from work with one of these guys.
