3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Purchased at "New York Deli", an Indian Mom-n-Pop store in the North Fairmount ghetto of Cincinnati - Hey, it’s actually acceptable "wino fuel"with a slightly sweet taste and no nasty adjuncts and aftertaste. It is quite acceptable for being what it is.

This is a very fine and high quality malt liquor and those who deride it clearly know nothing of the style. It is perfectly clear and orange golden in the glass--though many prefer this style straight from the can or bottle--and has a short lived head of fine white bubbles. It smells faintly of grain--I would guess corn--w/o any heavy alcohol or other harsh flavors. This drinks rather light for a high gravity malt and only a touch of burn on the back of the tongue indicates its elevated strength. Brisk carbonation helps to cut some slight sweetness which is about the only flavor this beer offers. Overall, I’d call it a stretch to say this is a good beer but if we are being honest w/ ourselves here--which beer nerds seldom are in this regard--this has way fewer off-notes w/ way less to hide behind than your standard imperial stout and thus could objectively be considered to be a better beer.

I am new to this site and unsure how to properly describe this beer other than to say that it is the most God awful shit on the planet. My fathers description of bad beers fits it best: ROT GUT. It had me on the toilet for hours with the worst, most painful gas and unable to shit. Suffice it to say, DO NOT buy this "beer" unless you are suffering acute alcohol withdrawal and are about to die. Shame on you Miller, for standing behind such an inferior product.

Transfer from BA review on 10-30-12-
Poured from can into pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a light golden color with a fizzy one finger white head. The head fade very vast to leave almost no lacing.
Smell – Bready, corny, and sweet. While it is a more classic malt style aroma, it is a little fresher than most and doesn’t really have any metallic or papery smell. It even has a lighter lemon hop aroma. Not bad.
Taste – The taste begins of malt with some corn sweetness and a light citrus hop flavor. At the front it is smoother and somewhat pleasant, but then all goes downhill from there. At this point the citrus hop seems to give way to a metallic and alcohol flavor. These two flavors get stronger and drown out the nice flavors up front to leave a somewhat bitter, biting, burn on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the just above average side in terms of creaminess with a carbonation level that is very average.
Overall – While the aroma and initial tastes were quite nice for a malt, the finish to the taste was rather offensive. Not the best malt out there.

Tall can. Tastes pretty bad, like musk, skunk, and light sweetness. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like old musky grains.

24 oz can. This expired two months ago. Hopefully that won’t affect the profile of this fine fine brew. Aroma consists of creamed corn, generic lager, chalk, vomit. Pours clear pale gold with a large off-white head with great retention; it even laces a little. Taste is sweet and boozy, disgusting. Not even enough carbonation to make it palatable. Bottom of the barrel, horrid stuff. I brass monkey-d all but a small sample to rate.

24oz can, enjoyed from the can on Robotopera’s boat. Best before August 11, 2014. Big corn, bready malt, light pepper in the nose up front. Light bit of a cheap macro lager bite, but nowhere near as bad as expected. A good bit of german hop aroma to it, even. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Alcohol taste is not that bad, considering it’s 8%. An expected light bite, pretty light of a bite, though, not totally awful. Medium-plus body. Lightly slick texture, that gets to be lightly drying in the finish. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Impressive stuff, I’m making quite a dent in this 24oz can. Didn’t expect to even get half way through it, but I managed to kill about 20oz of this before pouring the rest out for my homies.
