1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Can from backlog notes 07/08 that I wasnít going to ever enter, but tickers... Pours a clear pale yellow color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet grainy malt, corn, skunk, grass. I didnít touch this when I was in college so why did I now? Yes this is essentially the same rating as the Busch, but it is the same crap so...

Pours a clear golden color with white head. Some grain flavor and a bit of hops to it, nothing special though.

Haha, good olí Icehouse brewed by Miller.
Sigh, well, here we go.
Various times this has been poured into pint glasses and other times it was in a pilsener, and honestly, there isnít any difference.
The appearance was a light yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that died within less than ten seconds. There wasnít any lacing.
The smell had typical corn/rice adjuncts and that was it.
The taste was overly sweet and it didnít have any aftertaste nor finish.
On the palate, it sat exceptionally light and had a very good sessionability about it. The carbonation was actually pretty good for the style as it wasnít harsh nor smooth.
Overall, in my opinion, this is basically just another American Adjunct Lager, but I guess one could pound these on a hot summerís day if they wanted to.

Bottle, this beer is terrible, I used to buy it because it was cheap a little bit stronger than the other cheap stuff. It is a pale gold, very thin and watery, not worth it unless you are looking to get drunk on the cheap.

Stupid continued quest to try all things crappy. Last time I had this I bought $5 cases that were expired from the distributor. I bought something like 5 and all were hard to get down this is no different. Pee, metal, skunky.

I think this is the worst thing of any kind (beer or otherwise) that I have ever tasted. This beer even manages to be ugly to look at, for Peteís sake. Itís almost like itís an outright act of hostility on the part of MillerCoors. It pours piss yellow with a few splotches of foam that look a bit bacterial. The aroma is like some unholy mixture of a little paint thinner, a little vinegar, and a lot of water. There is hardly any aroma there, but what IS there is bad. Drinking this stuff is an exercise in asceticism. Itís like scourging oneís own palate. Itís like if you boiled brussle sprouts and let the water sit in the pot out on your porch all day, and then got it cool and tried to drink it. I do not know why I did this to myself.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Appearance: pours a thick, sudsy 2" white head that recedes quickly with mild lacing. Light golden appearance with plenty of streaming carbonation.
Aroma: lightly toasted barley malt, corn, and a bit of hops.
Mouthfeel: light and watery, slightly papery. Finish is dry with some lingering alcohol.
Flavor: sweet barley malt, corn sweetness, there is a lingering hop bitterness in the middle and finish.
Overall: this was drinkable, but not exceptional in any way. A decent brew for the price.
