It is almost mixing sewage water with some pure enthanol because that will make it taste better right. Well the brewers were wrong when they thought that up. It almost seems that they tried to increase the percentage alcohol in pabst and had disasterous concequences. The resulted in creating a beer of almost no taste and no good features. vomit (65), USA

Remember, this is the shit that set off, that whole "Ice beer" craze in the early ’90’s. What a joke.
And the dumb saps in the public, bought it! What a bunch of ineducable rubes!

Everything you hate about BMC including dusty DMS, corn, adjuncts, et. al. Has a hit of alcohol... not as much as you’d expect from an ice beer, but more ramped up than a traditional macro. Slogan reads, "Smooth, Never Watered-Down Taste." I would have preferred a thinner taste than this sickly, corn/alcohol concoction that hangs instead of dissipates.
Icehouse was fine in my college days when I sought out cheap beers to get drunk on, but it holds no place in my life now (except as a cheap "tick" in my battle against "he-who-shall-remain-nameless"... who recently accused ME of <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/corona-light/743 his standards, yet scroll down and you will find his rating of Icehouse on Jan. 24 < src=http://www.ratebeer.com/images/smilies/10.gif& /> <font size=-4>24 ounce can from <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Places/ShowPlace.asp? Maybe that’s why it reminds me of it... Tasted like Malt Liquor. Blah... Nejhleader (927), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA
