Smooth, never watered-down taste--but probably should be. Made in the Plank Road Brewery since 1855--and tastes just as old.

A beer for someone looking to get buzzed in a hurry. Not much flavor, not much aroma, but packs a heck of a wallop.

I haven’t had one of these in years. Found a 12 oz. can in the fridge and popped it open. A typical lager color, thick longlasting white head. I liked the maltiness that you often don’t get in a lager. Average carbonation with a fairly rich taste. I can’t find anything terribly wrong with this beer. The pale color doesn’t match the fullness of the taste. A slightly sour aftertaste.
