TINOZACCA (146), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Aug 25, 2005 This beer is very weak. It has too much alcohol in it for how watery it is. The taste is ok until it gets warm. The after taste is much to alcoholy, and bitter. But it does have a good amount of alcohol in it for partying sake. And is quite cheap when buying a keg. timmy300 (199), bloomington, Illinois, USA Aug 24, 2005 this beer is cheep.....you can usually buy a 24oz with the change in your couch...which should earn it some bonus points.....but those are lost once the beer warms a bit and you have to choke down the dregs from the bottom of the can darkcarrington (31), USA Aug 11, 2005 Miller once again delivers a lower quality beer. Put back a few though and you’ll quickly forget not only who made it but also what it is that you’re drinking. Bottom line here, lots of alcohol for cheap. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 8, 2005 Pour is lifeless golden yellow with a big dense white head...smell is almost nonexistent...some malty something and something metallic...taste is sweet and corn/grainy...this is not absolutely horrible... Cletus (5002), Connecticut, USA Aug 8, 2005 Do I really need to describe this one? Buy a sixer of it, drop them in the fridge, kick back with a few of them and remember that at one time this was considered craft beer. 1FastSTi (2551), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA Aug 3, 2005 beer on the cheap. that’s what this is. If you need to get drunk and don’t want something that tastes good, this is it. I recall a day in college where we bought a 12er of this in bottles and accidentally dropped it. It really wasn’t a "loss". :) ghawener (953), San Salvador, El Salvador Jul 26, 2005 Can: Bright golden, medium white head, aroma with traces of hops also noticeable in it’s taste. Some bitterness and nice aftertaste. Refreshing and better than most commercial American lagers. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Jul 19, 2005 12 ounce can, "smooth, never watered-down taste"...sounds promising?
wan, sallow faintest yellow appearance, head starts big, disappears in a trice.
vacant aroma, slightly sweet and corny, turning sour...
Taste is empty, as well, and not entirely pleasant, either. There’s a plastic feel in the texture, body is light as can be, finish is short and none too sweet. Harsh, acrid, grainy-ness dominates what accounts for flavor, and this is revealed to be a thinly disguised alcohol-delivery system, as if we didn’t know that already.
As much as I try to complete every sample of every beer I review, this one’s gonna have to go down the drain. Not enjoyable, barely tolerable.
